I have been tagged by Fenke from trespluscool (http://www.trespluscool.com/) a few days ago and now I have to tell you 6 habits or random things about me:

1. I hate the sound of mosquitos and scan our bedroom every evening in summer
2. day-dreaming is one of my favorite hobbies
3. I'm addicted to strawberries,tea, magazines, shoes, jewelry
4. I'm neglecting my blog at the moment because I start working full time this month. But I'll blog more regularly soon.
5. I love creating lists and write everything down in my moleskine
6. I only drink coffee because of the gorgeous milk froth

1. Ich hasse das Geräusch das Mücken machen und suche im Sommer jeden Abend unser Schlafzimmer nach Mücken ab
2. Tagträumen ist eines meiner liebsten Hobbys
3. Ich bin süchtig nach Erdbeeren, Tee, Magazinen, Schuhen und Schmuck
4. Leider vernachlässige ich im Moment meinen Blog, weil ich jetzt vollzeit arbeite. Bald blogge ich hoffentlich wieder regelmäßiger!
5. Ich mache sehr gern Listen für alles mögliche und schreibe andauernd irgendwas in mein Moleskine
6. Ich trink Kaffee eigentlich nur wegen dem tollen Milchschaum

RADICAL ADVERTISING

The NRW-Forum Düsseldorf shows an exhibition about the changing standards in advertising and consumerism. Many famous artist such as Banksy, Silvy Fleury, Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, David LaChapelle, Cindy Sherman etc. are featured. The Comme de Garcons Guerilla Store forms the centre of the exhibition.


Das NRW-Forum Düsseldorf zeigt im Moment eine Ausstellung über den Wandel der Werbung und des Konsumverhaltens. Die Arbeiten vieler bekannte Künstler wie Banksy, Silvy Fleury, Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, David LaChapelle, Cindy Sherman etc. sind dort zu sehen. Den Mittelpunkt der Ausstellung bildet der neue Comme de Garcons Guerilla Store.

DMITRY SHUBIN

Dmitry Shubin is an artist from St. Petersburg and I saw some pics of his Moscow-Lissbon project in the Ludwig Forum (http://www.ludwigforum.de/) last week. He found the models for his photos via email/internet and travelled from Moscow to Lissbon for taking their pictures. Those pics bear a striking resemblance to streetstyle-photos.

Dmitry Shubin ist Künstler und stammt aus St. Petersburg. Letzte Woche sah ich Fotos seines Moskau-Lissabon Projekts im Ludwig Forum (http://www.ludwigforum.de/) und mir gefielen nicht nur die Bilder, sondern auch die Geschichte dahinter: Dmitry suchte oder fand seine Models per Email (oder anderweitig über Internetaufrufe) und reiste von Moskau bis Lissabon um diese Menschen zu portraitieren. Mich erinnern diese Bilder stark an Streetstyle-Fotos.

I received this little Ladureé-box filled with yummy macarons from a lovely fellow blogger (thanks y from http://libelinha-y.blogspot.com/) ! Rosewater is my favorite flavour! I felt very Marie Antoinette while eating those:)

Vor wenigen Tagen erreichte mich diese kleine Laudureé-Box gefüllt mit bunten Macarons von einer lieben Bloggerin (1000 Dank an y von http://libelinha-y.blogspot.com/)! Rosenwasser ist mein Lieblingsgeschmack und ich fühlte mich sehr Marie Antoinette-esque während des Verzehrs:)

LONGO'S WOMEN

Although I wasn't allowed to take pics in the Ludwig Museum in Budapest, I made some notes while strolling through the museum (as usual).
One of the artists who caught my eye was Robert Longo. I love the style of the women shown in his drawings! Clean, simple, elegant without being boring (ok, the womens' poses are important, too).


Obwohl ich, wie bereits erwähnt, keine Fotos im Ludwig Museum in Budapest machen durfte, wurden, wie üblich, eifrig Notizen während des Museumsrundgangs gemacht.
Einer der Namen, die ich in mein Moleskine gekritzelt habe ist Robert Longo. Dieser amerikanische Künstler zeigt Frauen mit einem wunderbaren Stil: Clean, simpel und elegant ohne langweilig zu wirken (ok, die Posen der Frauen spielen dabei natürlich auch eine Rolle).
