Yes, it's that time again! Unfortunatley, I have almost no time for shopping at the moment but I peeked at notorious high end online shops like www.mytheresa.de and www.net-a-porter.com and found some very beautiful things on sale...but still to expensive I guess.

The Belgian artist and illustrator Jarno Kettunen tries to express the mood at the backstage of fashion shows through action drawings.
I think the implied sketchiness with its runs of colour add a careless attribute to his paintings which make them very interesting to look at. They seem to be vibrant yet apparitional and abstract, lacking details but their composition doesn't look random to me.

Der belgische Künstler und Illustrator Jarno Kettunen fängt die Atmosphäre im Backstage-Bereich von Fashion Shows ein, indem er sie kreativ in seinen action paintings umsetzt.
Auf mich wirken die Zeichnungen durch ihre angedeutete Skizzenhaftigkeit und die unkontrolliert und nachlässig scheinenden Farbverläufe sehr interessant und dynamisch. Der Mix aus Chaos, dessen Anordnung nicht völlig willkürlich wirkt ist irgendwie faszinierend.
Oder was meint ihr?

UNDERWEAR

I received this Passionata underwear set "Passio" a few weeks ago. It's very cute with little bow and lace details. A CD came with the underwear with the commercial and some making of-pics. The commercial was created in collaboration with David LaChapelle and I like his work a lot but the commercial is just not for me! A wilde ride on an icy rocking horse! Weird!

Vor wenigen Wochen wurde mir das Passionata Set "Passio" zugeschickt und wie ihr sehen könnt, ist es sehr verspielt und niedlich mit kleinen Schleifen und etwas Spitze. In dem Päckchen lag auch noch eine CD mit dem Werbefilm und Bildern des Making-of. Der Film wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit David LaChapelle gedreht. Da ich LaChapelles Arbeit eigentlich sehr mag, hatte ich wohl zu hohe Erwartungen an den Werbefilm, da mir dieser nicht gefällt. Wahrscheinlich habt ihr ihn schon mal im Fernsehen gesehen (ich besitze ja keinen, deshalb weiß ich nicht genau, ob er schon ausgestrahlt wird). Ein wilder Ritt auf einem Schaukelpferd aus Eis!

I chose two outfits today which differ a lot in style!
The first one is a romantique secretary-look with many lovely details (those red shades and the lace umbrella).
The second one looks very laid-back to me with those cowboys boots and the boyish hat. The purple tights blend in nicely!
